Kondai lip the heritage resort having a natural backwater frontage at Kondai, in Ezhupunna situated in northern lip end of Allapuzha district and southern end of metropolitan city Cochin. That is how Kondai lip derived its name. Ezhupunna is an attractive village with paddy fields, shrimp farms and coconut grooves has all its reverence of a quiet country side, far from the madding crowd. Ezhupunna is approximately 18 k.m from Fort Cochin and 49 k.m from Nedumpassery Air port.

Kondai is a beautiful backwater heritage resort, adorned with aristocratic wooden houses. These ancient houses are more than hundred years old and are built strictly according to the principles of "Vasthu Sasthra" of the olden days. However they are linked with all the modern amenities, for the maximum comfort of the guests.

Kondai Resort is a naturally designed island resort with its neat corridors of coconut palms, is spread over 10 acres of land. It is partially surrounded with shallow water; safe and suitable for rowing the traditional canoes caled "Kothumbu Vallam"
